Dr. James Lin brings over 30 years of specialized experience in Geriatric Medicine, Aesthetic Anti-Aging, and Functional Medicine. With advanced fellowship training in these fields, he delivers exceptional, individualized care that helps patients look, feel, and live their best at every stage of life.
A graduate of LECOM with multiple advanced degrees, Dr. Lin has built a reputation for combining evidence-based medicine with aesthetic innovation. As President of the LECOM Institute for Successful Living, he has overseen a broad network of programs, ranging from skilled nursing and wound care centers to home health and wellness clinics, all dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for aging populations.
Dr. Lin’s career has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Clinician of the Year Award from the American Geriatric Society. His leadership has secured over $50 million in research and program funding from federal and state agencies, including the HRSA and AHRQ.
At Glow Laser & Beauty Center, Dr. Lin integrates his passion for successful aging with cutting-edge aesthetics. He specializes in laser and energy-based therapies, body contouring, hair restoration, hormone optimization, functional medicine, IV therapy, and guided weight management. Patients value his compassionate care and visionary approach to aging beautifully inside and out.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lin enjoys exploring advancements in longevity science and wellness innovation, continuously seeking ways to elevate patient outcomes and redefine what it means to age gracefully.
Tara Chaffee brings over a decade of leadership experience in healthcare and aesthetic practice management. With a Master’s in Health Services Administration, she has been instrumental in translating Dr. Lin’s vision of redefining aging and aesthetics into reality.
Tara’s background includes building and managing large-scale programs at the LECOM Institute for Successful Living and helping grow Glow Laser & Beauty Center into one of Erie’s premier destinations for aesthetic medicine. Her approach blends strategic insight with genuine compassion for patient care.
Known by both patients and colleagues as the “heartbeat of Glow,” Tara ensures that every visit is seamless and welcoming. Her commitment to operational excellence and elevated patient experience ensures that each guest feels valued, supported, and confident in their care journey.
Outside of Glow, Tara enjoys spending time with family and exploring wellness and leadership development, bringing the same energy and dedication to her personal growth as she does to the Glow team.
Aaron Kleps, PA-C, brings over 10 years of clinical experience and procedural expertise to Glow Laser & Beauty Center. With a strong foundation in neurosurgery and interventional medicine, Aaron spent eight years at a complex spine center mastering precision-based techniques that now translate seamlessly into aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
For the past five years, Aaron has worked alongside Dr. Lin to advance the integration of geriatric, aesthetic, and personalized medicine. He is renowned for his meticulous approach, calm demeanor, and genuine commitment to helping patients achieve their optimal appearance and well-being.
Aaron specializes in aesthetic injectables, hair restoration, body contouring, and functional medicine treatments, offering each patient a balance of artistry and clinical excellence. Julie Detzel is a Licensed Esthetician with over 20 years of experience helping others achieve healthy, radiant skin. Known for her personalized and results-driven approach, Julie tailors every treatment to meet the unique needs of each client.
